Bio



Kitty Cheung (she/她) is a multidisciplinary writer and artist based in Vancouver, Canada. Moving between the literary and visual arts, Kitty creates poetry, plays, short stories, collages, and illustrations. Her work explores themes of Cantonese cultural identity, immigrant family dynamics, and belonging within the Asian diaspora. She is an internationally published writer, with work appearing in Best Canadian Poetry, SAD Mag, Ricepaper Magazine, and SUM Malmö. Her visual art has also been published with the Vancouver Fringe Festival, The Lyre Magazine, and The Peak. Kitty finds solace in zebra pens and drag shows.
